  1. Some full-length retail copies of the CD were also promo'd in the same box with similar inserts. However, these CDs include a second interview/chronology booklet in their jewel case. The five-track A Taste Of Bilingual CD was also promo'd without the box and extras/5(7).

It was a UK top five record upon release and included five singles, all of which were UK top 20 singles. Much of ‘Bilingual' was influenced by the music of Latin America which Neil and Chris has been exposed to on a tour of that region/5().

  7. It's not a crass, simplistic fusion, where the polyphonic rhythms are simply grafted over synthesizers and a disco pulse. Instead, Bilingual is an enormously subtle album, with shifting rhythms and graceful, understated melodies.
